Laminaria Digitata

( Harvesting season: 15 April to 15 October )

Main uses

  • Agriculture & soil amendments (extracts, biostimulants)

  • Cosmetics (gels, masks, textures, marine care)

  • Animal nutrition (subject to applicable regulations)

Formats & packaging

  • Dried and milled seaweed flakes

  • Big bags 500 kg and 1,000 kg

  • Micronisation available on request

Description & properties

Harvested in Brittany and processed (low-temperature drying, milling) by our team, Laminaria digitata — also known as Breton kombu (kelp) — is naturally rich in iodine, alginates and marine minerals.

Its mucilages and alginic acid content make it a highly valued seaweed for its structuring, hydrating and remineralising properties.

It is widely used in the agricultural, cosmetic and nutritional sectors for the formulation of extracts, functional powders and technical products.

Laminaria hyperborea

( Harvesting season: 1 March – 15 May & 1 September – 31 December)

Main uses

  • Agriculture & biostimulants (extract supports, coating, encapsulation)

  • Cosmetics (gelling, thickening, texture stabilisation)

  • Animal nutrition (marine fibre and mineral input, subject to applicable regulations)

Formats & packaging

  • Dried and milled seaweed flakes

  • Big bags 500 kg and 1,000 kg

  • Micronisation available on request

Description & properties

Harvested on rocky seabeds in Brittany and processed by our team (low-temperature drying, milling), Laminaria hyperborea stands out for its more rigid structure and higher alginate content.

It is particularly sought-after for the production of highly viscous extracts for gelling, thickening and stabilising formulations.

A reference species for food and technical alginates, it is also prized in cosmetics for its film-forming effect and texture retention, as well as in agriculture and animal nutrition as a functional raw material.

Ascophyllum nodosum

( Harvesting season: year-round, with fallow period compliance )

Main uses

  • Agriculture & soil amendments (biostimulants, conditioners)

  • Animal nutrition (fibre-rich raw material, minerals and iodine, subject to applicable regulations)

  • Cosmetics (polyphenol-rich extracts for marine care)

Formats & packaging

  • Dried and milled seaweed flakes

  • Big bags 500 kg and 1,000 kg

Description & propriétés

Hand-harvested on the Breton intertidal zone and processed by our team (low-temperature drying, milling), Ascophyllum nodosum is a shoreline seaweed recognised for its natural richness in polyphenols, alginic acids and marine trace elements.

It is a benchmark species in agriculture for the formulation of biostimulants and soil conditioners, providing structure and active compounds to formulations.

It is also used in animal nutrition as a functional raw material, and in cosmetics for the quality of its marine active extracts, in compliance with applicable regulations..

Fucus serratus & vesiculosus

( Harvesting season: year- round )

Main uses

  • Agriculture & biostimulants (extracts, soil conditioners)

  • Cosmetics (marine body & face care, texture retention)

  • Animal nutrition (fibre-rich raw material with marine minerals, subject to applicable regulations)

Formats & packaging

  • Dried and milled seaweed flakes

  • Big bags 500 kg and 1,000 kg

  • Micronisation available on request

Description & properties

Harvested on the Breton intertidal zone and processed by our team (low-temperature drying, milling), Fucus serratus and Fucus vesiculosus are naturally rich in phlorotannins (polyphenols), fucoidan, alginic acid and marine trace elements.

They form excellent bases for the formulation of extracts and functional powders, valued for their structuring and active properties.

Fucus species are widely used in agriculture for biostimulants and soil conditioners, in cosmetics for marine care and texture improvement, and in animal nutrition as a functional raw material, in compliance with applicable regulations.

Himanthalia

( Harvesting season - year round )

Main uses

  • Food & functional ingredients (subject to applicable regulations)

  • Animal nutrition (fibre-rich raw material with marine minerals)

  • Cosmetics (marine functional extract and powder bases)

Formats & packaging

  • Dried and milled seaweed flakes

  • Big bags 500 kg and 1,000 kg

  • Micronisation available on request

Description & properties

Harvested on the Breton coast and processed by our team (low-temperature drying, milling), Himanthalia elongata is an elongated brown seaweed recognised for its natural richness in soluble fibres, fucoidan, polyphenols and iodine.

It presents an excellent functional profile, valued for its texture, binding and marine signature contribution to formulations.

Himanthalia is used as a raw material in the food, nutritional and cosmetic sectors, particularly for the formulation of marine powders and extracts, in strict compliance with applicable regulations.
